Original French oil on canvas. Born in Southeastern France in 1949, Jean-Louis LACAZE-LABAN (signed bottom left) uses the palette knife technique with great success in this still life with flowers. His gestural strokes stand out alongside the choice of vivid colors. In an almost abstract form, the blue, white and orange of the flowers, thickly outlined, are set against a background split diagonally between shades of deep blue and red.

In large dark wood frame and in great condition.
